Béla Nagy: Open up cuts for Riemann surfaces

We show that there exists certain families of cuts on Riemann surfaces
with simple branching which divide the Riemann surfaces into layers
in a natural manner.
We also show that there are infinitely many such homotopically nonequivalent
families of cuts using monodromy groups, Clebsch theorem, mapping
class groups and Dehn twists.
This is a joint work with Sergei Kalmykov (Shanghai), Vladimir Lysov (Moscow)
and Olivier Sete (Berlin).
