Title: Parametric families of real quadratic fields and the class number one problem
Abstract: We survey our results concerning the class number one problem for special families of real quadratic fields. In connection with these problems, we also survey some results from the literature concerning such parametric families of real quadratic fields where an explicit formula or an estimate can be given for the fundamental unit.
