Cameron Stewart (University of Waterloo): Multiplicatively dependent vectors of algebraic numbers

Abstract: In this talk we shall discuss joint work with Konyagin,
Pappalardi, Sha and Shparlinski on vectors in C^n whose coordinates are
algebraic numbers which are multiplicatively dependent. In particular we
shall count the number of such vectors of height below a given bound and
discuss their distribution.
