Károlyi Gyula: A few simple constructions in additive combinatorics

We present a few simple observations related to three different topics in additive combinatorics. The first one concerns the set addition of multisets in finite groups. Next, we present explicit colourings that can be used to demonstrate the partition irregularity of certain Diophantine equations. Finally, we propose a slight modification of Imre Ruzsa's argument on restricted set addition along the rows of a rectangular arrangement.
