Addisu Paulos (CEU): Wiener Index of Maximal Planar Graphs

The Wiener index of a connected graph of order n is the total sum
of distances between all unordered pairs of vertices in the graph. In this
paper we find the sharp upper bound of the Wiener index, of a maximal
planar graph. Even more, we show unique structure of extremal planar
graphs for all n ≥ 10.
