Borbély József (Óbudai Egyetem és ELTE): Some Classical Results in Number Theory: A Probabilistic Perspective

We will demonstrate the power of the classical probabilistic methods proving some old and well known theorems in number theory. We will consider an elementary problem of Erdős, the Hardy-Ramanujan theorem and the Erdős-Kac theorem.
