
For the fourth time, the Hungarian Academy of Sciences has launched the Public Education Development Research Programme. Among the research groups awarded a four-year grant is the MTA-Rényi-ELTE Mathematics Didactics Research Group, led by Csaba Csapodi, which aims to improve student understanding through methodological support for mathematics teachers and teacher candidates. Csaba Csapodi is a research associate at the Rényi Institute, Director General of the ELTE Teacher Training Centre, Head of the Centre for Mathematics Teaching and Methodology at ELTE TTK, Péter Juhász, Head of the Department of Methodology at Rényi, and Katalin Gosztonyi, a research associate at Rényi, are also members of the research group.
